Robert Burns was Scotlands most famous poet who is now renowned worldwide. He ws born in Alloway Ayrshire in 1759 and died in Dumfries in 1796. He is buried in St Michaels church yard. On the day of his funeral his wife gave birth to his last child.
This series of works shows places where Burns lived and worked as well as locations mentioned in some of his better known poetry. I was inspired to do this because of his connection with my home town.
